The establishment of Magna FS Business and System Development (Pty) Ltd (trading as Magna FS), followed agreement between Fischer Consulting (Pty) Ltd and Sethaba Investments (Pty) Ltd to form a company in compliance with the requirements of the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act (Act 53 of 2003). Consequently Magna FS also complies with the requirements of Statement 100 published by the Department of Trade and Industry.

Sethaba Investments, a 100% black owned company, holds 25% of the equity in Magna FS, whilst the remaining equity is held by Fischer Consulting. Fischer Consulting and its full subsidiary Procon Fischer (Pty) Ltd has a well established track record of innovative solutions and business excellence dating from 1989. Magna FS acquired the business of Procon Fischer on 1 August 2005.

The composition of the company reflects the diversity of disciplines involved in business and
management. Apart from industrial engineering and business administration, the qualifications of Magna FS management specialists encompass electronic engineering, civil engineering,
statistics, computer science, the full spectrum of management sciences, psychology, education
and training, and other social disciplines. One attribute of the consultancy is its unique ability to
